The initial works will concern the demolition of Pavilions 7 and 8<\/strong> to make way for the construction of the new Padiglione Zero<\/strong> and the new Technology Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On 23 October 2023,<\/strong> the site areas affecting St. Jerome’s Abbey (Abbazia di San Gerolamo) and the Technology Centre were handed over to the contractors.<\/p>\n

The relocations affect:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h1>\n

  • Villa Quartara,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>where the Training Centre and nursing school were located;<\/li>\n
  • St. Jerome’s Abbey<\/strong>, where the Emergency Management Operations Centre, maintenance staff offices, laundry, workshop and the men’s changing rooms will be located;<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Pavilion 17,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>where the women’s changing rooms will be located;<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Pavilion 12<\/strong>, where doctors’ offices will be located on the third floor (for coworking);<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Pavilion 10<\/strong>, where the budget offices will be located on the fourth floor;<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Pavilion 13<\/strong>, used to house the rare diseases centre, social workers and CABEF (an environmental conservation organisation);<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Pavilion 10,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>where the International Office will be temporarily located on the fourth floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Once the relocations have been completed, the controlled demolition of Pavilions 7 and 8 will begin.<\/strong><\/p>\n
